Douglas Vitale, President and Principal Forensic Examiner
Douglas has more than a decade of combined experience in computer forensics, electronic discovery, information security and facilities security. His responsibilities range from managing forensic investigations to overseeing business operations.
Before starting PCI, Douglas was a manager in the IT risk consulting services group at Aon Consulting. Previously,Douglas held positions as a Senior Forensic Examiner at The Intelligence Group and Forensic Consultant at Guidance Software. In these roles Douglas was responsible for conducting high-tech investigations, complex examinations and analysis of computers. In addition, Douglas has provided expert testimony in county and federal court.
Douglas has over 200 hours of formal computer forensic training, and is an AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE) and EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) from Guidance Software. Also, Douglas has obtained the Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) certification from The International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners and the GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) certification from The Sans Institute. Douglas has a Master Certificate in PC Network, Design, and Security from Fairleigh University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Thomas Edison State College.
